A day of rest was just what we needed. We all slept in. Banyan has been fever free all day, though aches and pains remain. Benji still seems to be spared. I’ve tapped into our antiviral arsenal of essential oils, vitamins, herbs, mushrooms, and apple cider vinegar to try and keep this at bay, and it seems to be working. I feel extremely fortunate that we’ve been sleeping at home for seven months straight. I’d like to keep it that way.
We spent the afternoon with Kathy and Gana, grilling and laughing and having fun poolside like many other American families today. Tomorrow begins our final week of the school year. That is completely mindblowing to me. This has been such a huge transition year for both boys, and it has flown by, chemo and all.
